Abstract
In an earlier paper formulae were given for the macroscopic behaviour of a perfect Bose-Einstein gas. In this paper formulae are given for the mean occupation numbers of the energy levels and for the fluctuations in these numbers. These formulae are in agreement with those obtained by earlier (invalid) methods. Keywords
