Abstract

Three main carbohydrate components were isolated and identified by paper chromatography from the seminal plasma of fowl semen; namely, inositol, glucose and glycerol. Similarly, 3 carbohydrate components were isolated and identified from the washed sperm cells. These are inositol, glucose and erythritol.
