Note on Nucleolonemata in Human Cultured Cells

Abstract
Filamentous structures were observed by phase contrast microscopy within nucleoli of normal and neoplastic human cells after exposure of cultures to hypotonic salt solution. These "nucleolonemata" appear identical with silver-stained filaments demonstrated cytologically and with those seen in thin-sections by electron microscopy.
