Abstract
The authors described an UV-spectrographic method for the qualitative and quantitative estimation of chloroquine (Resochin, Delagile), isolated with ether from the frozen and lyophylized urine after intravenous infusion of chloroquine base. The determination was carried out by using the basic line at 3,300 and 3,440 A. There exist at least 2 different types of UV-spectra products which are eliminated in urine after chloroquine infusion. One of these has a spectrum of chloroquine base isolated from urine and the second product was eliminated by the patient idiosyncratic to the infusion of chloroquine. Keywords
