Abstract
Two photographs show the large drum, made for the author in England, to fit accurately over the drum of Padgett''s dermatome, and the drum is held in place by a spring clamp. With this drum a piece of skin graft covering the area of the drum (8X6 in.) may be removed when cut transversely across the thigh. The prepn. and application of a skin pattern on the raw surface of the skin graft on the drum is described and also its removal from the drum and Suture in place over the defect area.
