Abstract
A full finite-range distorted-wave Born-approximation formalism is used to calculate the two-neutron transfer reactions O18(p, t)O16(g.s.), Ca40(t, p)Ca42(g.s.), and Pb208(p, t)Pb206(g.s.). It is found that the shape of the differential cross section is well predicted in the forward direction for all nuclei studied, but the normalization is given correctly only for O18.
