Abstract
Pb concentrations were measured in 454 leaf specimens of V. alpina collected from Greenland. V. alpina is the kisplante (pyrite plant) associated with sulfide mineralization in Fennoscandia. From the geometric mean and standard deviation, anomalous values were those exceeding 10 .mu.g/g (dry mass). Anomalous Pb levels were associated both with known mineralized areas and with regions of specific geology which are considered to be worthy of follow-up investigations. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
