Abstract
In this work possible quantum mechanical effects for the three dimensional reactive D+H2→HD+H reaction are discussed. The study is carried out by comparing quantum mechanical and quasiclassical backscattered differential cross sections as a function of collision energy. A strong quantum effect is detected for the v=0–>v’=0 transition in the energy range around E tr=13 kcal/mol.Keywords
