Abstract
Roger Kornberg of Stanford University School of Medicine revealed in atomic detail how DNA in cells is converted into messenger RNA, a process known as transcription. Last week, that achievement earned Kornberg the 2006 Nobel Prize in chemistry. (Read more.)Keywords
