Abstract
Of 152 entries of muskmelon (C. melo) germ plasm tested in the greenhouse for resistance to F. oxysporum f. sp. melonis race 2, 18 cultivars had intermediate resistance (12-71% seedlings resistant) and 32 were highly resistant (81-100% seedlings resistant). Resistance was found in C. melo var. reticulatus, var. inodorus, var. chito and var. flexuosus. The inheritance of wilt resistance is discussed.
