Abstract
The microscopic sections of skin from calves with parakeratosis indicated that: there was excessive keratin formation; a large number of nuclei were retained in the stratum corneum; and the number of cells in the stratum granulosum was reduced. There was also acanthosis with elongation of the rete pegs. Photomicrographs of skin are presented. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
