Abstract
α-Trialkylsilylstyrenes[Ph(R3Si)C=CH2: R=Me(1), Et(2), and Ph (3)] easily reacted with arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates[ArN2+BF4− (4)] to give (E)-PhCH=CHAr under palladium(0) catalysis. The bulky substituents on silicon gave better stereoselectivity. Keywords
