Abstract
Estonia is situated on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Our neighbours are Finland in the North, Russia in the East, Latvia in the South and Sweden in the West. Estonia covers an area of 45,100 km2 and has a population of 1.5 million. The total number of doctors in 1994 was 4,680, meaning there are 31.4 physicians per 10,000 inhabitants.Keywords
