Abstract
Thin continuous single‐crystal films of trigonal selenium have been obtained by epitaxial growth from the vapor phase on the (1010) and (0001) faces of tellurium. Transmission electron diffraction and x‐ray diffraction measurements indicated the normal trigonal structure and parallel orientation of the selenium on the tellurium. Lattice constants were identical with those found in bulk material. Keywords
