Unusual reactions to tetanus toxoid

Abstract

Early, severe, urticarial-type systemic allergic reaction to fluid tetanus toxoid is a rarity. Little has been written about the phenomenon of smallpox vaccination scar inflammation in response to antigenic stimulus, and, this reaction due to tetanus toxoid, has not been previously reported.
