Cutoff wavenumbers of ridged circular waveguides via Ritz-Galerkin approach

Abstract

The cutoff wavenumbers of the TE₁₁ and TE₃₁ modes in double and quadruple-ridged circular waveguides are calculated by the Ritz-Galerkin method. The approach used and the computed data for the quadruple-ridged case are published for the first time.
