Abstract
This condition was diagnosed in 69 patients over a period of 2.5 years. The clinical pattern is similar to that in western countries, and neither Entamoeba histolytica nor pathogenic bacteria contribute to its incidence. Chronic non-specific ulcerative colitis is not rare in India, where specific forms are more frequent. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
