Serum Protein Changes Following Feeding of Parathion to Dogs

Abstract
Paper electrophoretic studies of the serum proteins from dogs fed 100 ppm of 0,-0-diethyl 0-p-nitrophenyl thiophosphate (parathion) in the total diet for 9 weeks indicate a significant depression (14%) in the relative globulin levels. Simultaneous cholinesterase determinations of the plasma and red cells indicate a depression in each to less than 20% of pretreatment control values.
