Abstract
The surface tension of liquid xenon was measured in the temperature range 189°—286°K by a capillary‐rise method. The results may be represented by γ=γ0[1 − (T/289.74) ]p, with γ0=54.6±0.1 dyn cm−1 and p=1.287±0.017. The experimental method is discussed and the results compared with existing theory and experimental data. Keywords
