MENINGOCOCCEMIA WITHOUT MENINGITIS; A STUDY MADE AT THE STATION HOSPITAL, FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, MARYLAND

Abstract
11 cases of meningococcemia without meningitis are presented and 4 additional cases summarized. The various characteristic skin lesions are described and discussed. All cases made uneventful recov-ery with sulfadiazine. Laboratory findings are given and cultural technique is described. Two photographs of typical skin lesions and 2 characteristic temp .-pulse-respiration charts are shown.
