Abstract
The development and validation of the College Drinking Attitude Scale (CDAS) are described. Based on a sample of over 4,000 college students, an item analysis, internal consistency analysis, and criterion validity analysis procedures were performed. The author concludes that the CDAS is a valid and reliable instrument that could be used to assess responsible attitudes toward the use of alcohol among college students. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
