Abstract
A method is described for deducing the 37% slope and the extrapolation number of the dose-response relationship for a cell population, from simple frac-tionation experiments. The method involves matching the effect of a pair of fractionated doses with a single equivalent dose, and repeating for 2 dose levels. Experiments are described in which the method is applied to Vicia faba. Keywords
