Abstract
The authors study the dynamics of domain growth in a system with multiply degenerate ordered states. Using a phenomenological model recently proposed by them, they perform two-dimensional simulations to study the time-dependent behaviour of such degenerate systems. In the final stage the average size of the ordered domains is found to grow with time t as t12/, independently of the degeneracy p. The p-dependence of the asymptotic scaling functions for the domain size distribution is also discussed. Keywords
