Abstract
In this article I present a physically motivated renormalization scheme for Coulomb-gauge QED. This scheme is useful in calculations involving QED bound states. I implement this scheme to one loop by calculating the electron self-energy, the electron self-mass, and the renormalization constants and . Formulas for the dimensional regularization of some noncovariant integrals useful in one-loop Coulomb-gauge calculations are given.
