Abstract
This paper reviews research and theoretical articles investigating psycholinguistic aspects of aphasia. The major parts of the review include the concept of regression in aphasic language both on an ontogenetic and a microgenetic level, and studies of specific parameters, such as abstractness; it discusses the approach of mathematical linguistics and the types of aphasia described on the basis of linguistic evidence. Keywords
