Abstract
"This study compared the acquisition and extinction of eyeblink CRs while under the influence of a stimulant or a depressant drug. Eighty female students received at random one of four treatments: amobarbital sodium, placebo, dexamphetamine sulfate 45 min. before conditioning or 2-hr. before conditioning. The 2-hr. dexamphetamine group conditioned more readily than the placebo group, whereas the amobarbital sulfate group conditioned less readily. No significant or even apparent differences were found between the con-ditionability of the placebo and the 45-min. dexamphetamine group.".Keywords
