Familial Reticuloendotheliosis With Eosinophilia and Follicular Mucinosis

Abstract
A 2-month-old infant boy with familial reticuloendotheliosis with eosinophilia was of the kindred reported by Omenn. The manifestations closely paralleled those reported previously and included an erythematous scaly maculopapular rash, lymphadenopathy, hepatomegaly, and blood eosinophilia. Skin and lymph nodes were infiltrated with histiocytes and eosinophilic leukocytes. Follicular mucinosis was a unique feature of the skin lesion not previously reported.
