Abstract
The proton spectrum over the angular interval of 0 to 10 mrad from the interactions of 29.4-GeV nitrogen on carbon has been calculated. The differential cross section for the emission of protons indicates that there is a significant number of emitted protons with energies greater than the energy per nucleon of the incident projectile (2.1 GeV). A description of the calculational method is included. Keywords
