Abstract

The reaction of CS₂ with [PtF(PPh₃)₃][HF₂] gives a bisphosphine platinum dithiofluoroformate complex [Pt(S₂CF)(PPh₃)₂][HF₂], the result of insertion of CS₂ into the Pt–F bond.
