Abstract
This article describes the construction of a synchronous motor kymograph. The author provides illustrations and details on the parts of the kymograph and the practical advantages to this particular construction. The instrument consists essentially of a horizontal cast iron base, on which are mounted a ten-pole synchronous motor; a drum, with magnetic clutches; and a worm-wheel, mounted on a short shaft.
