Abstract
Summary Under conditions in which coprophagy was completely prevented by use of tail cups, the number of lactobacilli in cecal contents and feces of rats was reduced significantly. Thus, the possibility exists that studies of vitamin deficiencies observed under conditions of cupping may be complicated by changes in intestinal microflora. Keywords
