Abstract
This paper examines upper and lower bounds for the reliability of a large consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system with unequal failure probabilities of components. The reliability of a large consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system can be derived under certain conditions, from the upper and lower bounds. Examples are given. Keywords
