Abstract
A 31-year-old woman developed fever, severe headache, myalgia and rash 3 weeks after a visit to Cyprus where she experienced insect bites in her bed. Treatment with ciprofloxacin resulted in a remarkable and rapid effect. Endemic typhus was proved by serology. Keywords
