Abstract

Rare and forbidden decays of charmed D mesons are discussed. An estimate is made of the sensitivity of BR (D → μ^±e^∓X) to higher mass generation-changing gauge bosons. A calculation is made of the rate for the second order weak decay c → ul⁺l⁻.
