Probabilities of structures in Poissonian distributions

Abstract

We show how to obtain expressions for the probability density of structures defined by d degrees of freedom in a Poissonian distribution of points. Methods are given for the determination of the coefficients that appear in these expressions. The connection, in the high-density limit, with Gaussian random fields is pursued.
