Abstract
Pulsed photoconduction in polyimide films is studied in the charge mode as a function of electric field, light intensity and sample thickness. The collected charge was found to be almost independent of the sample thickness and approximately proportional to the 0.5 power of the light intensity. A model is presented which assumes that photogeneration is of the Onsager type and the succeeding transport is limited by bimolecular recombination. Keywords
