Abstract
How does the cell arrange for the asymmetric distribution of microtubules during spindle formation and cell division? In their Perspective, Gundersen and Bretscher discuss new work published elsewhere that shows how certain proteins become loaded onto microtubules and cooperate with actin cables to guide the microtubule tips to a new location.Keywords
