Abstract
A rapid fluorometric method was developed for the determination of 0.01–0.5 mg 1−1 of boron in aqueous medium. The procedure involved mixing aliquots of the sample and chromotmpic acid solutions plus acetate buffer at pH 6.7. Excitation and emission wavelengths were 313 nm and 380 mm, respectively. Interference could be eliminated by incorporating EDTA and DCTA an metal complexants in the buffer reagents. Keywords
