Sinusitis in Children

Abstract
Anything that interferes with the protective function of the mucous blanket in the nasal and paranasal passages can set the stage for sinus infection. The most important and by far the most frequently unrecognized factor underlying chronic sinus problems is allergy. At least seven of every 10 cases of chronic sinus infection probably have an allergic basis.
