Revealing The Concept if Polyarylsilaneimide Quasi Nano Composite Formation Correlation With Macroseopic Properties And Electrical Parameters

Abstract
Polyimide-arylsilaneimide quasi nanocomposites have been prepared by an innovative route. Various structural features have been evaluated and verified by FTIR and XP S techniques. A dynamic mechanical analysis and tensile test have been performed on these quasi nanocomposites and properties have been found to be far better than those of the neat polyimide. Enhancement in the properties of these quasi nanocomposites has been attributed to the availability of high surface area to volume ratio for bonding of the nanoparticles crabbed in the continuous matrix and the same has been verified by atomic force microscopy. A hypothetical phase diagram has been proposed and different transformations occurring during the formation of quasi nanocomposites discussed. Wide angle X-ray has indicated the increment in crystallanity in quasi nanocomposites and the same has been found to be responsible for the enhancement in ionic conduction. Dielectric relaxations occurring in quasi nanocomposites have been correlated with the structural features.
