Abstract
Preparation of small alloy particles of Fe 37 Ni 28 B 34 and Fe 52 Ni 37 B 11 is achieved by reduction of the metal ions using KBH 4 in aqueous solution. Möss-bauer and X-ray diffraction studies show that the particles are amorphous. Mössbauer spectra obtained after annealing experiments indicate that the alloys are stable up to about 600 K.Keywords
