Abstract
Lugol-hematoxyline and zinc sulfate-hematoxylin are prepared with aluminum sulfate which diminishes the overstaining of the cytoplasm. When the 2 solns. are made from hematoxylin of good quality they can be used at once. The eosinophiles are well stained by the Lugol. The efficiency of the aluminum sulfate is reduced by the zinc sulfate and the staining reactions of the basophiles are preserved. In using the solns., the nucleus indicates some resistance to the acid of the cytological and histological stainings for differentiation. Keywords
