Gonorrhoeal urethritis in males treated with one oral dose of oxytetracycline.

Abstract
Oxytetracycline HC1 in a single oral dose of 1.5 g was an acceptable alternative to penicillin. Considering the increasing rate of penicillin hyper sensitivity and the decreasing cost of oxytetracycline HC1, tetracyclines may become the drug of choice in the treatment of gonococcal urethritis in males.
