Abstract
A 78-year-old woman with recurrent chalazia of the upper eyelid was found to have mucinous eccrine carcinoma. This rare pathologic entity, with low metastatic potential, nevertheless has a significant recurrence rate. This case underscores the importance of considering this tumor in recalcitrant eyelid lesions and highlights the pathology of this tumor. A summary of previous cases is also presented. Keywords
