Abstract
A case of angiomatosis of the pericardium with spontaneous hemopericardium occurring in a 36-year-old male is presented. A review of the literature reveals 12 previous reports of solitary hemangiomas of the parietal and visceral pericardium. The presence of multiple, widely separated, apparently dysontogenetic, angiomatous proliferations within the parietal and visceral pericardium is unique and represents a rare cause of hemopericardium. Keywords
