Abstract
Pulsed discharge plasma(PDP) has been used to kill bacteria and the curves of the survival rate of bacteria against treatment time are obtained. Irreversible structural change in the cell membrane is caused by PDP and the cell is thus killed. The sterilization mechanism is analyzed. Keywords
