Abstract
Following Allen's comments, the authors discuss and clarify here some points of their theoretical calculation of electron-phonon effects in lead. It is numerically demonstrated that the low-energy part of does not significantly contribute to in the experimental , domain. Moreover, using a calculation averaged more correctly, the authors obtain a good agreement with their experimental results when comparing and effects on .
