Abstract
A new vibrational analysis of the TiO gamma ' band system has been made based upon 35 of Phillips' (1969) measured band-head positions for this system and a new analysis of the ground state (Phillips 1973). The band-head positions were corrected to band-origin positions which were fitted by a least-squares procedure to a second-order polynomial in the molecular constants T'e, omega 'e, and omega ex'e. The resulting values were used to derive estimates of the equilibrium rotational constants, B'e, alpha 'e, and D'e, and improved arrays of Franck-Condon factors and r centroids. Keywords
