Abstract
Complexes between metal salts and high-molecular-weight polymers containing solvating etheroatoms have a relatively high conductivity and may be considered as ion-conducting polymers or, effectively, as polymer electrolytes. In this paper the physical and electrochemical properties of these recently discovered disordered systems, as well as their possible applications in devices of importance in the developing electronics technology, are briefly described. Keywords
