Abstract
An all-order ab initio theory for above-threshold ionisation (ATI) is presented within the resolvent formalism. The calculations of ATI peaks are performed by using accurate values of the level-shift operator in the continuum spectrum. The comparison between computed and experimental spectra shows that the method leads to a correct description of the variations that occur in the peak amplitudes when the light intensity increases, in the long-pulse regime. Keywords
